The essentials - please read first!!

This forum is here for anybody with a serious interest in Ophthalmic Imaging (or related). Although initially only OIA members will be told about the location of the forum, members are encouraged to direct anybody with related interests here.

Please take advice: When you register, use an alias - do not use your name (such as jbloggs) as your 'handle'. Use something like your favourite football team, your favourite musician, your favourite character from a novel, . . . anything but do not use use your name. Also, use a 'throwaway' password and let your browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox, . . . .) remember the password, do not use the same password you use to retrieve your email or the same password you use to log onto your machine, . . . .

When you have registered please click on the User control panel link at the top of the forum page - click on the board preferences link and choose board preferences tab, by default users can email you but they will not see your email address. You can at any time change this.

Please take a look at that section and consider the options.

This forum will not be advertised as a link [please do not post links on your own web site]. We want to this forum to be available to anybody who has been told about it - they can register freely, but we do not want the site to be populated by users with no interest in Ophthalmology or related fields.
